God’s Day to You!
We’re excited that you are checking out our website and we hope that you will join with this vibrant community of Christians
as we come together to worship God through traditional and contemporary Sunday liturgies.
We are theologically inquisitive and believe that God’s revelation continues through the incarnate presence of Jesus Christ found within ourselves
and shared with all of God’s creation. We are an open and affirming community in which one’s name is known, one’s soul is treasured and one’s gifts
are valued and utilized for the good of the community of the parish, for the community of McMinnville and for the world at large.
If you are a “seeker” we invite you to find a home with us at our 10:00 AM service. With the exception of Easter, Christmas and Pentecost, we use an
alternative format called “Enriching Our Worship.” It’s easy to follow as it is up on power point and very visible. When there is a 5th Sunday
in the month, our youth design and implement many aspects of this service. Children are children and we encourage them to express themselves on
Youth Sunday and during the regularly scheduled services as well. In the pews, you will find our statement of the joy that we find in our children
as we encourage all to be participants. Decorated canvas bags containing craft supplies are available in the rear of the worship space.
Perhaps a more structured and traditional service fills your soul. If so, you will be warmly welcomed and you will find comfort at our traditional
service, Rite I, at 8:00 AM.
Early this summer, we will be able to invite you to a Latino service. Since this service is in the planning stages, please watch this site for the
exact start date and time. The service will be in Spanish and the preaching in English so as the rector of St. Barnabas, I am very excited to make
this announcement.
Enjoy the rest of our website. Please feel free to call me at 971-241-5872 or contact me at priest@stbarnabasmcminnville.com.
God’s blessings are yours.
